How to Whitelist Silo's Email Domain

If you or your customers or vendors are having trouble receiving emails from Silo, there is a chance that Silo's domain is currently blocked by your email provider. If this happens, follow the steps below to begin receiving communications again.


For Outlook users:

  1. Log on to security.microsoft.com
  2. Go to Policies and Rules
  3. Click on Threat Policies
  4. Click on Anti-Spam Policy
  5. Click on Anti-Spam Inbound Policy
  6. Scroll down to “Edit allowed and blocked senders and domains”
  7. Click on Allow Domains
  8. Add the following domains: usesilo.com and relay.usesilo.com
  9. Click Done
  10. Click Save
  11. Wait 10-15 minutes for your changes to take effect

For Gmail users:

  1. Open Gmail and click the gear icon in the top right
  2. Select "See all settings" from the Quick Settings menu
  3. Navigate to the "Filters and Blocked Addresses" tab
  4. Click the "Create a new filter" link
  5. Add a specific email or domain to the "From" field: usesilo.com and relay.usesilo.com
  6. Click "Create filter" to advance to the next screen
  7. Select the "Never send it to Spam" checkbox and click "Create filter" to finish
