How to Set a Customer's Default Delivery Route
You can specify a default delivery route for each customer on the Contacts > Customers screen.
Delivery routes are used in sales orders. When a customer is selected and the order type is “Delivery to customer”, the customer’s default delivery route will default in (if they have one), or the user can select from any of the account’s available delivery routes. This has a few interactions with the rest of the sales order:

If the selected delivery route is not available on the order’s selected date, the Requested Date field will be cleared.

A non-inventory item will be automatically added with the fee for the selected delivery route.

The delivery route will display on the printed BOL and pick ticket.
To set a default delivery route for a customer:
- Navigate to Contacts > Customers
- Search or scroll down to find and select the customer of interest
- Press Edit customer in the footer of the right pane
- Under Delivery Route, select your desired default
- Press Save changes
