How to Restrict the Ability to Oversell

The Restrict Unassigned Sales setting controls whether users receive an inline warning or a hard stop error when ordering an unlotted or oversold item. Note that this setting cannot be turned on if Only auto-assign single lot is enabled.

To enable this setting:

1. Navigate to Settings > Orders
2. In the Sales Orders section, locate the Restrict Unassigned Sales setting
3. Select either Warning or Blocked from the dropdown menu
